The booking forms for this year's Hallowe'en extravaganza has gone out to all children in their school bags. If you've missed the booking form, place download it here and return to the school office as soon as possible to avoid disappointment - places are limited.

Our annual spooky Hallowe'en Party for the Junior School returns  on Thursday 19 October 2017.

Put the date in your diaries and look out for the booking forms in your child/ren's book bag in the next couple of weeks.

FDPS Events for the next academic year 2017/18 announced!

The Friends of Ditcham Park organise and take part in a full programme of events in each academic year, traditionally starting off with our AGM in September.

Here, you can keep up with our forthcoming and planned events for the year.  Some of these, such as the seasonal fayres, are regular annual events, and you can read more about each of these by selecting from the Events drop down menu above.

Don’t forget the Noticeboard holds our handy calendar where all our events will be posted, together with many of the key school events and public holidays.

2017 Ditcham After Dark Campsite Rules

Back by popular demand, we are excited to announce the return of the Ditcham After Dark Camp Over event to kick off the 2017/18 school year. Set within the beautifully secluded Walled Garden, the event is open to all Ditcham families, staff and their friends - a real Ditcham family affair! You won't want to miss this popular event so so book your pitch now.

Time: 16 September 2pm - 17 September 11am.

The highlight of the weekend will be music performances from our very own Talented Ditcham Pupils and ending the evening with live music. 

On Saturday from 5pm, we’ll have fabulous food vendors, selling fresh hot food. Of course, you are welcome to bring cool bags with your own picnics and cold drinks and you may bring alcohol for personal consumption - in moderation please, given this is a family event. The Friends will also be running a Tuck Shop!

Weather & conditions permitting, we shall have a fire pit on the go to toast marshmallows, but this will not be until after the bands have finished – and remember your children will need to be supervised at all times around the fire pit!

On Sunday, bring your own breakfast cereals & we’ll provide the milk along with coffee and tea.

  • Cost to camp: £10 per adult, £5 per child, under 5’s are free.
  • Cost for evening only, no camping: £5 per adult, £2.50 per child.
    Please note **Children MUST be accompanied by an adult.**

We hope you will join us for this fabulous family event. Tickets are limited and will be sold on a 'first-come, first-served' basis... so please, do book as early as possible to avoid disappointment – last year’s event was a sell-out! 2017 Ditcham After Dark Campsite Rules

Are you ready for a “Knockout 40th Birthday May Event”?

This time in 1977, Paddy Holmes and her first academic year of pupils were enjoying their first spring at Ditcham Park… 40 years on and the FDPS is planning for a tremendously exciting family event, suitable for all, to celebrate this very special landmark in Ditcham’s history.

On Saturday 20th May, the FDPS invites ALL the school body – parents, pupils, grandparents and their whole circle of family and friends – to join the FDPS committee and School staff for a FABULOUS celebratory event!  One of great fun, laughter, shopping, great food and, for those with a youthful and funloving spirit, the chance to enter a “Knockout Challenge” (Its A Knockout)!

The event itself (usually called the “May Fayre”) will be free to enter as normal, only this year, as a thank you for years of support from parents and staff in running Year Group stalls, we’ll be laying on a very special treat – with no Year Group stall duty for any of you!

A fabulous shopping village will be available for all who enjoy the legendary shopping opportunities our fayres always provide, there will be 4 amazing external food stalls on hand including pizza, fish and chips and much much more!  In the Solent Suite you’ll find a scrumptious tea room run by the school’s catering team. And what do you have to do?  Nothing! Just relax and enjoy the show!

During the afternoon we’ll be hosting the “Knockout Challenge” company who will run their Bronze Show on our front pitch/lawn overloking the Solent.  We initially have 160 places for our children to enter this challenge (at just £10 per head, including event team T-Shirt), and they will enjoy an hour each of wet and dry inflatable activities, games and team challenges!
