Projects & Funds Raised

In recent years, The Friends of Ditcham Park School has raised over £10,000 in funds annually from the wide variety of fundraising and social events held. These funds are then used to benefit all of the children at the school by purchasing resources which are not available within the standard school budget.

How Are Funds Allocated?

FDPS operate a "bid" system, open to all parents, pupils and staff of the School. Bids are completed, using the form at the foot of this paragraph, and each request is assessed by the Committee at their regular meetings. Each bid should give a clear reason for the request(s), benefits and estimated costs. The FDPS Committee presents then discusses each bid, and makes a decision based on the majority vote. It is possible further information will be requested from the proposer before a decision is made.

A retrospective summary of our fundraising activities is given by the Chair at the AGM.
